Ikota Educational Foundation Scholarship Details

Ikota Educational Foundation (IEF) is a not-for-profit educational trust registered in Nigeria and managed by a Board of Trustees. Its aim is to promote educational and social projects based on Christian principles and ideals that can contribute to the development of our society.

The foundation has launched the IEF Talents Programme for final-year university STEM students and students of colleges of education.

This program is designed to support exceptional students financially and to offer them a smooth transition into the teaching profession through direct employment in one of the foundation’s schools upon graduation.

Ikota Educational Foundation Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate Ikota Educational Foundation Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Be a female in her final year of (i) a teacher education program at an accredited college of education or (ii) a university undergraduate degree program in any of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) courses.
Have a domicile in Enugu.
Demonstrate academic excellence with a strong record of achievement and good character.
Show a commitment to the teaching profession and a desire to contribute positively to the education of the youth.
Exhibit qualities of leadership, compassion, and an ability to engage with young learners and their parents. Effective communication skills are crucial.
