2025 Hult Prize Challenge Details
Excitement is in the air as the Hult Prize Challenge 2025 was recently launched by former US President Bill Clinton.
This announcement was made at the Global Finals event in Paris, marking the 15th anniversary of this prestigious competition. This year’s challenge is truly special with its theme, ‘UNLIMITED’.
The 2025 challenge invites participants to propose any innovative social enterprise idea.
This is your chance to select a global issue and present a business solution to address it.
The Hult Prize Challenge 2025 offers an unprecedented opportunity for young leaders and entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative solutions to global problems.
With an open-ended theme and the chance to secure significant funding, this is a call to action for all creative minds across the globe.
2025 Hult Prize Challenge Requirements
- The competition is hosted by Hult Prize Foundation, Inc.
- Teams should have 3-5 members, all of whom should be full- or part-time university undergraduate or graduate students.
- Participants must be 18 years or older ny February 28th, 2025 and able to provide proof of student status.
- The competition is not open where prohibited by law.
- Employees of the Hult Prize Foundation and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotional agencies, and suppliers are not eligible.
- Local event organizers cannot compete in their own events.
The only requirement is that the idea should have a transformative impact and align with at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Selection Process
Stage 1: Qualifiers
- November – February To get started in Hult Prize, students must qualify by competing in local competitions through our OnCampus Program, or online via our open application.
Stage 2: Nationals
- March – May Winners of local competitions and top startups from our open application will compete in national events or participate in an equivalent online selection process.
Stage 3: Digital Incubator
- June – July In the Digital Incubator, leading startups refine their ideas, validate their product-market fit, create proof of concepts, develop MVP’s, and set up actionable go-to-market strategies. We provide our entrepreneurs world-class resources, including online workshops and personalized mentorship from social entrepreneurs and industry experts.
Stage 4: Global Accelerator
- August Our best startups will travel to the Hult Prize Global Accelerator at the historic Ashridge House outside of London. This immersive program is designed to accelerate business growth by helping teams refine their business strategy, expand their networks, and scale their impact globally. Participants receive expert mentorship, attend interactive workshops, and participate in pitch opportunities and demo days with investors.
Stage 5: Global Finals
- September At the Global Finals, six teams pitch their social ventures to a panel of distinguished judges with the hopes of being selected as the next winner of the US $1,000,000 Hult Prize.
