About the NDDC Scholarship
The NDDC Scholarship is an academic initiative of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) designed for students from the Niger Delta region to advance their education in universities abroad.
The NDDC is an agency of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, one of the ministries of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Other initiatives of the agency include construction projects and the NDDC Internship Program that pays ₦50,000 monthly stipends.
The NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship 2025 seeks to equip candidates with Human Capital Development by providing them with advanced skills, specialized knowledge, and industry-relevant expertise—particularly in line with the Federal Government’s Local Content Programme.

To successfully apply for the NDDC Scholarship 2025, intending candidates are to first be aware of the scholarship requirements;
NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship Requirements
The NDDC Postgraduate Scholarship requires that candidates;
- are from Niger Delta origin particularly from Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers State.
- have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria
- have graduated with at least a Second-Class Upper grade
- are not older than 40 years old

NDDC Scholarship Application Portal Login
- Your application will be submitted via the online NDDC Foreign Scholarship application portal (CLICK HERE)
