The Society of Fellows is offering Harvard University Fellowship to international applicants.
The purpose of the Society is to give scholars at an early stage of their scholarly careers an opportunity to pursue their studies in any department of the University, free from formal requirements.
Additionally, the Harvard University Society of Fellows was created to offer early-career scholars the freedom to pursue their studies across University departments without formal requirements.
Fellows are chosen based on their exceptional ability, originality, resourcefulness, and potential to influence the future of their fields.
All career fields are eligible.
To be eligible for the Harvard University Fellowship Program 2024, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Candidates must be at an early stage of their scholarly career, with most receiving their Ph.D. shortly before the fellowship begins.
Candidates who are still pursuing their Ph.D. should be at the dissertation stage and plan to complete their degree within a year of starting the fellowship.
The fellowship is open to candidates of any nationality and field of study.
In addition, after the nomination is received, the Society will request letters of recommendation and work samples from the referees and the candidate. The nomination process begins in early July, and nominees are processed on a rolling basis.
