Great Ife Alumni Scholarship Details
The DFW Branch of the GreatIfe Alumni Association is happy to provide annual scholarships to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria students.
The Great Ife Alumni Scholarship is first and foremost about giving back to an institution that equipped DFW members to not just withstand the later challenges of life but to thrive in spite of those challenges.Â
The plight of disadvantaged students being a major area of concern to the majority of the DFW members, a decision was made to institute need-based annual Scholarship Awards for outstanding indigent students of their Alma Mater.

Great Ife Alumni Association Scholarship 2025 Requirements
To be eligible for the Great Ife Alumni Association Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
 Applicants must be enrolled and on track to complete and obtain a Bachelor’s degree from the University.
Applicants must be in good academic standing (no less than a 3.0 overall grade-point average on a 5.0 scale).
Applicants must have completed and passed all registered 100 Level courses
The scholarship amount may vary from year to year and will be disbursed at the beginning of the fall semester.
The Association reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship award if the requirements stipulated above are not met or the participants’ character comes under question
The Association reserves the right to withhold the scholarship in any given year if a suitable candidate is not identified
All submitted documents remain the property of the association.
Required Documents
While applying for the 2024 Shanghai Government Scholarships, you will be required to submit the following documents;
- Complete Application Form
- Academic Transcripts
- Up-to-date resume or C.V.
- Current passport-sized photograph
- Two-page statement highlighting your career goals and how the scholarship and the degree program can help you achieve them
