MMoCRA Scholarship Details
The MMoCRA programme gives African researchers, trainees and university staff the opportunity to get a fully-funded scholarships and academic mobility grants for Masters, Doctoral, and Traineeship programmes.
The programme is an EU-funded mobility programme through the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme connecting leading African and European universities to strengthen climate resilience across Africa through multidisciplinary research and training.
Through academic mobility and knowledge exchange, MMoCRA is building a new generation of African scientists and engineers equipped to deliver innovative, climate-resilient solutions for sustainable development.
European Union MMoCRA Scholarship Benefits
The European Union MMoCRA Scholarship offers the following benefits;

- Contribute to your travel and visa expensesÂ
- Cover your participation costs (e.g. tuition and registration fees)Â
- Contribute to your research expenses depending on the available budgetÂ
- Scholarship holders with disabilities can receive additional support.

MMoCRA Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the MMoCRA Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- You must hold citizenship from an African nation.
- You must be physically living in an African country during the application process.
- Your academic background or research interest must align with climate resilience, environmental sciences, renewable energy, digital technologies, or agrifood systems
- You must obtain or concurrently apply for an admission or conditional admission letter from an approved MMoCRA partner
