The European Union and Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) are inviting young people to apply for the EU Youth Empowerment Fund by July 21.
The European Union Youth Empowerment Fund supports innovative local projects that help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Also, the fund offers small grants for community projects by individuals or youth groups, especially those from under-represented backgrounds, including disadvantaged, gender equality issues, or disabled young people.
European Union Grant Benefits
Individuals and informal groups can get 500 to 1500 EUR, while registered youth organizations can receive 3000 to 5000 EUR.

European Union Youth Grant for Empowerment Requirements
To be eligible for the European Union Grant for Youth Empowerment, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be young person aged 14 to 30 from countries eligible for Official Development Assistance
- Applicants should be young individuals, informal groups, or registered youth-led organizations
Required Projects for European Union Grant for Youth Empowerment
- Projects should also be addressing global challenges aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Focus Areas: Projects by or for underrepresented young people and groups, including young people in challenging circumstances, those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, and individuals facing barriers related to gender or disability
- Projects addressing climate change and environmental sustainability
