CFA Access Scholarship Program 2027 Details

Applications are now open for the CFA Institute Access Scholarship for May 2027, designed to make the CFA Program more affordable for individuals who may otherwise face financial barriers to pursuing the qualification.

The scholarship is an opportunity for aspiring investment and finance professionals to work towards the globally recognised CFA charter while developing their investment and analytical skills.

CFA Institute Access Scholarship Program Requirements

To be considered for the 2027 CFA Access Scholarship Program, applicants must satisfy the following criteria::

• Applicants who meet the CFA Program enrollment requirements:
  • Complete a bachelor’s program or equivalent program and have received a degree from the college/university. If you are not sure if your program is comparable, speak to your college or university.
  • Have a combination of 4,000 hours of work experience and/or higher education that was acquired over a minimum of three sequential years and achieved by the date of registering for the Level I exam.
  • CFA Institute requires that every CFA Program candidate have a valid international travel passport. 
  • CFA Program exams are only offered in English. Exams require English proficiency for reading comprehension and formulating answers to complex financial scenarios.
