The West African Gas Pipeline Company is calling on all Nigerian undergraduates to apply for her 2023 WAPCo Scholarship award.

As part of the company’s motive to give back to their host communities, the WAPCo Scholarship award will provide funding that will cover the costs of tuition, accommodation, and living expenses 

The West African Gas Pipeline Company limited (WAPCo) is a limited liability company that owns and operates the West African Gas Pipeline System (WAGP).

WAPCo is an international company transporting natural gas in Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana in a safe, efficient, responsible, and reliable manner to create value for our diverse stakeholders.

Scholarship Details

The West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCO) is pleased to offer Academic Scholarships to a limited number of undergraduate students registered in Universities in Nigeria.

The award is for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

WAPCo Scholarship Requirements

The following requirements are to be satisfied by candidates applying for the WAPCo Scholarship;

  • Be a Nigerian. Be a resident/indigene of one of WAPCO’s Host Communities.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student in an undergraduate program at an accredited
    public university in Nigeria.
  • Be in Level 200 at the beginning of the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
  • Must have a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
  • Applicants should also register themselves with their respective Community Representatives, who will provide WAPCO with letters of identification, stamped and signed by The Paramount Ruler of the Community; or The Chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA) where applicable. Application Procedure

Application and Registration should be completed on or before 12th of September 2023.

Selection

  • All applicants shall undergo an interview. Details of the interview will be communicated to every applicant. Successful applicants shall be notified in writing.
