Scholarship Details

The Macaire Students Scholarship Scheme 2023 is a scholarship program that aims to provide financial assistance to students from Ikono and Ini Local Government Areas in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The scholarship scheme was initiated by Mr. Emmanuel Macaire, a philanthropist and a native of Ikono LGA, who is passionate about education and youth empowerment.

Out of the multitude that apply, only the crème de la crème, a total of 200 extraordinary minds, will be granted this prestigious scholarship. So, if you’ve always believed in your academic prowess, now’s the time to let it shine!

Macaire Scholarship Requirements

An eligible applicant of the Macaire Scholarship will satisfy the following requirements;

  • Hail from Ikono or Ini Local Government Areas (collectively known as Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency).
  • Be currently studying or have newly received admission into a reputable public secondary or tertiary institution within Nigeria.

Secondary School Award

Secondary school students applying for the scholarship will be asked to submit;

  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Origin
  • A fresh Passport Photograph
  • Your immediate past-term’s result

Undergraduate Scholarship

Undergraduate students applying for the should make sure they have the following at their disposal;

  • Certificate of Origin
  • Birth Certificate
  • A recent Passport Photograph
  • UTME/JAMB Result slip
  • Admission Letter from the institution

Application Procedure

  • Applications can sail through two routes – online or on-site.

    For the home-based indigenes: Grab your application form from the Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency Office, Noble House Oduk, Ikono LGA, Akwa Ibom State. Click on the application link that suits your category.

  • Selection Modality

    Successful candidates will be called for an Aptitude Test. Your performance here will be the deciding factor.

    Successful candidates will be based on eligibility, aptitude test performance, and meeting essential document requirements.
