Adelaide University Research Scholarship 2027 Details
Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) is the University of Adelaide’s flagship award for international research students, providing fully funded support for Master’s by Research and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
The scholarship is available in every discipline area to support outstanding candidates pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Philosophy degree and covers for the standard duration of candidature (i.e. up to 4 years for PhD, up to 2 years for MPhil, and up to 1.5 years for MRes).

Adelaide University Research Scholarship Requirements
To be considered for the 2027 award, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be a domestic student or an overseas student eligible to enrol in a research program at Adelaide University.
- Be eligible for admission to an MPhil or PhD program at Adelaide University.
- Have completed the relevant previous qualification by the scholarship closing date.
- Provide acceptable documentary evidence of qualification completion.
- Meet Adelaide University’s minimum admission requirements.
- For international applicants, provide evidence of the required English language proficiency by the scholarship closing date.
- Be able to commence the research program within the specified commencement period.
- Not currently hold an RTP Scholarship or equivalent Commonwealth scholarship designed to offset research degree tuition fees.
- Not hold an equivalent research degree at, or above, the level for which they are applying.
- Meet all other admission and scholarship requirements specified by Adelaide University.
