DAAD EPOS Scholarship Details

Scholarship recipients typically have work experience in a public authority, state institution and/or a private company in a developing country, and therefore they will have been engaged in the planning and execution of directives and projects with an emphasis on development policies relating to technology, economics and/or social impact.
DAAD EPOS Scholarship Requirements
Scholarship applicants must meet both DAAD EPOS Scholarship program requirements:
DAAD EPOS Scholarship Selection Criteria:
Citizenship of a developing country.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience post-Bachelor’s degree, emphasizing development policies in technology, economics, and social impact.
Academic degrees obtained within the last 6 years.
Motivation demonstrating development-related intentions.
Residency in Germany should not exceed 15 months by the application deadline.
MSc. Agricultural Economics Program Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with above-average results.
Official proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS academic, TOEFL ibt).
Proficiency in statistics and economics, substantiated by undergraduate courses.
Completion of the AgEcon PreTest for self-evaluation.

Required Documents
While applying for the 2024 DAAD EPOS Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;
Physically signed and dated DAAD Application Form.
Up-to-date CV (europass), also signed and dated.
Motivation Letter (max 2 pages), addressing current occupation, aspirations, and reasons for program selection.
Additional Documents:
Employer Recommendation from the current employer, on official letterhead, including position details and referee contact details.
Certificate(s) of Employment proving current employment and the requisite two years of relevant experience.
Proof of English proficiency results.
Original copies of Diploma & Transcript of Records, with certified translations into English or German.
Original copies of University Entrance Qualification (UEQ), with certified translations if not in English or German.
Ranking Letter if required for demonstrating above-average final grades.
APS Certificate (Akademische Prüfstelle) for applicants from India, China, and Vietnam.
