The MTN Foundation CHAMPS Program has now been opened for interested and passionate young Nigerians.
The program aims to discover and develop young Nigerian potentials in athletics, and to give them the support they need to reach their full potential as world-class athletes.
Through the MTN Foundation CHAMPS Program, Â talented young Nigerians from all corners of the country will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and receive the training.
MTN Foundation is the coporate social responsibility arm of MTN. MTN Foundation has invested over ₦23.7b in doing projects across all the 36 states of the federation including the FCT.
They have over 924 project sites across Nigeria with over 40 unique projects which spans over 2,604 communities. They have also reached over 30,741,005 people.

MTN Foundation CHAMPS Program Details
MTN CHAMPS is a program in Nigeria that aims to unearth and foster athletic talent across the country.
It is modeled after the Jamaican High school CHAMPS and is poised to become the primary platform for identifying and nurturing promising athletes who could go on to represent Nigeria in prestigious international competitions such as the Olympics and World Championships.
MTN Foundation do projects like ‘What can we do together’. They send subscribers messages in their phones to recommend communities that need intervention. They then go to that community and do something.
They also have orphanage support initiative, free medical support, anti-substance abuse program (ASAP), MTN scholarships, Arts and Culture initiative, Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program and ICT and Business Skills Training.
