In honor of the late Emmanuel Idowu and Maria Ajike Areogun, the LEIMAAF Scholarship aims to provide financial support to indigent students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Nigerian public tertiary institutions.

The scholarship is divided into two categories:

  1. SOAR Accessibility Scholarship (Need-based): This category assesses applicants based on their financial need and capabilities.

  2. SOAR Excellence Scholarship: Under this category, applicants are evaluated based on their records of academic excellence in previous sessions or semesters.

Late Emmanuel Idowu and Maria Ajike Areogun Foundation Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the Late Emmanuel Idowu and Maria Ajike Areogun Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an indigent student.
  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a Nigerian public tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing and completing a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.3 and above in 200L & above with Academic Report for the past session (Academic Excellent category).
  • Be a Christian and a full-time student enrolled in a public institution of higher learning in Nigeria.
