KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme Details

Applications are now being accepted for KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme for 2026/2027 academic session.

The KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme provides financial support to deserving Ghanaian students pursuing tertiary and technical/vocational (formal an informal) education at accredited institutions in Ghana.

The scholarship covers tuition fees and a stipend to help students overcome financial barriers and focus on achieving their academic and career aspirations.

KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme Requirements

To be eligible for the KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Must be a citizen of Ghana.
  • Enrolled or admitted at an accredited Ghanaian tertiary, technical, or vocational institution (in-country studies only).

KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme 2027 Required Documents

While applying for the KGL Foundation Scholarship Programme 2027, you will be required to submit the following documents;

  • A personal statement of not more than 800 words detailing why you are applying, why you should be selected, and how the scholarship will impact you, your community, and Ghana
  • Provide an updated CV
  • Submit academic transcripts or results
  • Provide an admission letter from an accredited Ghanaian institution, or proof of enrolment for continuing students
  • Submit a financial bill from your institution’s finance office stating tuition for the semester. For students enrolling for their first year of academic students, a letter of admission with tuition fees clearly stated on it would suffice.
