NNPC Seplat Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) Details

The Nigeria National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) Limited in partnership with Seplat Energy, is pleased its annual Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) to young Nigerians.

The NNPC Seplat Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is a comprehensive capacity-building programme equipping young people with the skills to design, install and maintain solar and mini-grid systems, delivering reliable electricity to communities and expanding access to power in underserved areas.

Since inception in 2024, the NNPC Seplat YEP Program has trained 129 persons from all across Nigeria.

Seplat Youth Entrepreneurship Program Benefits

  • The Seplat Energy JV supports Entrepreneurship Fellowship Programme, which aims at developing participants’ leadership skills, social entrepreneurship, and business management abilities, through customized and targeted capacity building workshops.
  • In addition, the beneficiaries’ ability to action their ideas is supported through equipment funding and mentoring.
