Women at Microsoft Scholarship Program Details

The Women at Microsoft Inclusion Network with the Seattle Foundation have established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs pursuing an area of study related to technology, engineering, math, or computer science.

The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.

Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team and a selection committee at the Women at Microsoft Inclusion Network.

The Women at Microsoft Scholarship Program will award a one time grants $5,000 (USD) to 26 women, thus a total of $130,000.

Women at Microsoft Scholarship Program Requirements

To be eligible for the Women at Microsoft Scholarship Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Plan to enroll full-time in a technology, engineering, math, or computer science related undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent
  • Employees and children of employees of Microsoft are ineligible.
