The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced applications for the 2026 Skill Development Training and Empowerment Programme.

The NDDC Skill Development Training and Empowerment Programme aims to train youths with practical skills on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Conversion.

The programme, amongst other benefits, will contribute to the development of a more reliable and sustainable transportation sector, which will directly stimulate economic growth through job creation and increased demand for Autogas specialists.

NDDC Skill Development Training and Empowerment Programme 2026 Requirements

To be eligible for the NDDC Skill Development Training and Empowerment Programme 2026, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • be indigenes from any of the nine (9) states in the Niger Delta Region.
  • have a minimum qualification of SSCE/WAEC in Science related subjects, OND(Sciences)/ Trade Test Certificate from any recognized institution.
  • be fresh graduates in engineering courses within the Niger Delta, with passion and a clear vision for CNG Conversion Technology, may also apply.
  • be aged 18yrs-35Yrs.
  • Other recognized technical qualification related to automotive, mechanical, or allied trades.
