Details of Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP)

The Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) is a flagship initiative under Nigeria’s National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).

Created to enable financial inclusion and economic empowerment, GEEP provides zero-interest, collateral-free loans to smallholder farmers, petty traders, artisans, and market women across the country.

The Federal Government GEEP Program focuses on smallholder farmers, market traders, artisans, youths and other vulnerable groups engaged in agriculture, informal trading and micro-enterprises.

The following are the various programs which benefit your business;

  1. FarmerMoni: 

FarmerMoni provides interest-free loans of up to ₦300,000 to smallholder farmers, helping them access seeds, fertilisers, equipment, and other essential inputs.

This programme is designed to strengthen smallholder farmers, increase productivity, and empower farmers to thrive.

  • 2. TraderMoni

TraderMoni is created for small-scale traders, artisans and petty entrepreneurs. It provides quick and accessible loans of up to ₦100,000, enabling traders to increase stock, improve cash flow, and strengthen their businesses.

  • 3. MarketMoni

MarketMoni provides interest-free loans of up to ₦100,000 to market women. With access to credit, beneficiaries can grow their working capital, restock inventory, and improve their businesses.
