2026 Access Bank Womenpreneur Program: Unlocking Opportunities

Access Bank is inviting eligible Africans to apply for her 2026 Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton Program.

The program seeks to provide mini-MBA certification to another 120 women entrepreneurs in Nigeria as well as grants worth over ₦18 Million Naira to WSMEs.

Launched in 2019, the Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton program is the first women-in-business support initiative of its kind in the industry offered by Access Bank’s W Initiative.

The Access Bank Womenpreneur Program in its maiden edition provided a free mini-MBA certification for 50 women entrepreneurs in Nigeria as well as financial grants worth N9Million to the top 3 applicants.

This was done in conjunction with the International Finance Corporation (IFC, a member of the World Bank Group). Subsequently, the program was extended to 10 other African countries where Access Bank’s W initiative has a presence.

The program has since provided Mini-MBA to over 300 women entrepreneurs across Africa.

Selected awardees receive a comprehensive financial package that removes financial barriers:

  • The Program brings new opportunities and continued support for women entrepreneurs.
  • This year, 120 exceptional women entrepreneurs in Nigeria will be selected to participate in an intensive, fully sponsored MiniMBA program designed to strengthen their leadership, improve business performance, and prepare them for sustainable growth.
  • Funding Amount
    • ₦7 million to the first beneficiary
    • ₦5 million to the second beneficiary
    • ₦3 million to the third beneficiary
    • ₦2 million to the fourth beneficiary
    • ₦1 million to the fifth beneficiary
  • Category 2
    • ₦500,000 each to five additional beneficiaries
    • ₦250,000 each to ten additional beneficiaries

To be considered for the 2026 Access Bank Womenpreneur Program, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Are you a woman who owns a 51% or more shareholding in a business?
  • Is your business registered with the CAC and has been running for at least 1 year?
  • Is your business innovative?
  • How about a grant to expand your business?

  • Submit your application: Complete and submit the online application form with your business details before September 29th, 2026.
  • Upload your pitch: Shortlisted applicants submit a one-minute video pitch about the business, then join the Mini-MBA program.
  • Get selected: Applicants with qualifying business pitches are selected to advance to the next stage of the program
