The MEST Africa Training Program is a one-year, fully-funded program at the graduate-level initiative in tech entrepreneurship.
Participants, known as Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EITs), undergo a transformative experience, honing their skills in software development, business, and communications.
The journey concludes with an investor pitch, where EITs can secure seed funding and gain entry into MEST’s incubation portfolio.

MEST Africa Training Program Requirements
To be eligible for the MEST Africa Training Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Applicants should have a strong passion for launching a software company in Africa
- entrepreneurial or corporate experience, and
- a degree from a top university or technical college.
- Key soft skills include leadership, teamwork, and effective communication.
- Full commitment to the year-long residential program is mandatory.
