Baze University Technology Skills Scholarship Details

The Federal Government of Nigeria, via the Federal Ministry of Education, has secured a credit to support a World Bank-endorsed project: Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS).

The project aims to enhance Nigeria’s TVET System. The IDEAS project’s goal is to foster skills development across the nation through a comprehensive approach, focusing on crucial elements of the skills delivery system.

The initiative emphasizes industry collaboration for better job market alignment and invites private investments in formal training.

Improving informal apprenticeship training quality adopts a pro-poor strategy to break the cycle of low productivity and skills in the informal sector.

It focuses on quality drivers like teaching resources and management capacities and amplifies recent policy and regulatory reforms by the Nigerian government, such as the NSQF and the formation of Sector Skills Councils.

  • GST101: Introduction to Innovation – 3 Credit Units
  • GST102: ICT for Development (ICT4D) – 3 Credit Units
  • GST103: Emerging Issues in Technology – 3 Credit Units
