University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarship Details
The University of Saskatchewan is currently inviting applicants to apply for the graduate opportunity at the Department of Nutrition (The Cochrane Laboratory).
The project aims to investigate the impact of feeding HIV-infected breast milk to babies. It seeks alternative from the use of donated breastmilk as a way to give babies the benefits of breastmilk without the risk of passing on HIV.
In this study, the lab will invite pregnant people living with HIV and caregivers of HIV-exposed infants to participate in a focus group or semi-structured private interview to understand how they feel about providing donated breastmilk to their babies.

To qualify for the University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet certain criteria. This includes;
- maintaining a cumulative weighted average of at least 80% in their undergraduate degree,
- possessing knowledge related to HIV/AIDS and infant nutrition, and demonstrating qualitative research experience.
- Successful candidates will not only receive a stipend but will also have the opportunity to apply for additional internal and external scholarships, further enriching their academic pursuits.
