University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland is one of the world’s top universities and is the most popular university for international students in Ireland. Each year, UCD offers a number of Global Excellence Scholarships for international students (on non-EU fees) starting their courses in September.

University College Dublin Global Eccellence Scholarships Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate and postgraduate University College Dublin Global Eccellence Scholarships, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Nationality and Residency: Applicants must be international students, and classified as non-EU for tuition and application purposes.
  • Program Requirements: Eligible programs are full-time undergraduate and graduate taught programs where the student must be based in Dublin. No part of the program should be awarded by another institution. Clinical Programs are not eligible.
  • Funding and Fee Status: Applicants must be self-funded and classified as non-EU for tuition fee purposes.
  • Academic Excellence: This competitive scholarship likely requires a first-class honors degree for Masters applicants.
  • Scholarship Renewal: Scholarships are renewable annually if the student maintains a grade point average of no less than 3.08/4.2 (upper second class).
  • Application Status: Eligibility to apply requires an ‘Offer’, ‘Conditional Offer’, ‘Accept’, or ‘Conditional Accept’ status in the UCD application process.
