The NNPC Renaissance University JV Scholarship is a joint venture scholarship offered by Renaissance African Energy Limited (NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture) for Nigerian students.
The aim of the NNPC Renaissance University Scholarship is to promote academic excellence among Nigerian undergraduates while also developing their skill sets.
Candidates awarded the NNPC TotalEnergies Eni Scholarship will be provided with financial grants every year through the duration of their program.

Available Programmes for NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture
For the 2024/25 academic session, the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture Scholarship will accept applications to all accredited programs of Nigerian universities.
Participating Universities for NNPC TotalEnergies Eni Scholarship
All students of Nigerian universities are eligible for the NNPC TotalEnergies Eni Scholarship.
NNPC Renaissance University JV Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate NNPC Renaissance University JV Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be a Nigerian by citizenship
- Be enrolled in an accredited Nigerian tertiary institution.
- Be a registered full-time student
- Not currently a beneficiary of a scholarship from a national or an international oil-producing company.
- Provide evidence of being in the second year of study, i.e. proof of admission in the 2023/24 academic session.
Additional Requirements
- Merit Scholarship – Open to all Nigerians
- Areas of Operation Award – Open to indigenes of Bayelsa, Imo, Delta, and Rivers.
Required Documents for NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture
While applying for the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;
- Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px).
- School ID card
- University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) Admission letter
- JAMB Result
- 2023/2024 Transcript (100 level Result)
- Letter of Identification from State (Showing Local Government of Origin).
- Applicants for the Operational Area Awards are required to provide scanned copies of letters of identification (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:
- The Paramount Ruler of the Community, and
- The Chairperson of the Community Development Committee or Community Executive Council (CDC or CEC)
Note:
- Each document attachment to the application must not exceed 200KB, and the image format must be in JPEG
- Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents.
- Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload.
