IHE Delft MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP): Shall we explore the possibility of a fully-funded scholarship in the Netherlands?
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided funding for the 2024 UNESCO/IHE Delft MENA Scholarship Programe (2025) as the framework of capacity building for professionals from a certain number of regions/countries.
The entirety of the costs of your tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance during the corresponding academic period are covered by the scholarship.
The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) 2025 includes the total cost of the MSc Programme; Tuition fee, insurance, international travel cost, and an allowance of €1,115 per month for the cost of living and accommodation during the complete study period.

MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) 2025 Details
The IHE Delft Water and Development Partnership Programme, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is providing scholarships in the framework of capacity strengthening and nurturing network of water professionals.
IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, formerly known as UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education is the largest international graduate water education facility in the world and is based in Delft, Netherlands.
Delft is a world renowned knowledge centre on water infrastructure, technology and sciences, and attracts high-level students and scientists from around the globe.

The scholarship includes the total cost of the MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development:

Selection criteria for IHE Delft MENA Scholarship
- Strong priority to female candidates.
- Strong motivation (you have to answer 5 motivation questions in your online application)
- Strong academic background
Preference to candidates with relevant work experience.
Requirements for UNESCO MENA Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP) 2025, you must satisfy the following criteria;
- Have academic admission to the MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development
- Be living and/or working in one of the eligible countries (Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman and Tunisia.).
- Agree to conduct MSc research in their country/region associated with one of the projects implement(ed) by the Programme.
- Show active participation in and contribute to the seminars organized for the learning networks of the Programme.
- Confirm to return to country of origin or other priority country of the programme.
