Osun Indigenes Organization Bursary Details
The Osun Indigenes Organization U.S.A. invites sons and daughters of Osun State to apply for a one-time Bursary Award of 50,000 Naira made available by the above association for the Fiscal Year 2023/2024.
The aim of the Osun Indigene Bursary Award is to support students of Osun State in financial needs as well as their academic careers.
Osun Indigenes Organization Bursary Requirements
eligible candidates of the Osun Indigenes Organization Bursary Award shall meet the following requirements to be eligible;
- must be from Osun State and currently have admission to a Post Secondary Institution in Nigeria (Polytechnic, College of Education, College of Technology or University).
- must demonstrate need and be self-disciplined as displayed through:
- Good academic standing
- Have financial need
- Be enrolled or accepted as a full time student.

The Osun Indigenes Organization Bursary Award is a one-off N50,000.00 scholarship grant as support towards the academic career of indigent but academically brilliant indigens of Osun State.
Required Documents for the Osun Indigens Organization Bursary Award
- A two page, typed, double spaced essay on the subject- “How to make a difference in my community”
- Submit three letters of recommendation from the following:
- The religious leader within your community
- A teacher who is familiar with your educational goals
- Your Local Government
Please also include the following in your application package:
- Current Passport Photos (Must be no more than six months old)
- Your Most Recent School Transcript
- A Copy of Your Birth Certificate
Application Procedure
All scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the school that the winner states in his/her application upon verification. Winners will be notified in writing.
