Development for Africa Scholarship Details
The Development for Africa Foundation is offering scholarships Up to Three Years and up to N200,000 / year Educational scholarship is being offered through Development for Africa  to assist an eligible Abia student who is having financial difficulties.Â
The Development for Africa Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to collaborating with the government to provide relief support and educational awards to financially challenged students within its immediate community.
Through the Development for Africa Foundation Scholarship, the foundation aims to make higher education more accessible and alleviate the financial burden faced by deserving students.
Development for Africa Foundation Requirements
To be eligible for the Development for Africa Foundation scholarship, applicants must:
- An indigene of Abia State (provide Name of village, Village head or EZE and Local government area)
- A full-time (LEVEL 200, 300, 400 or 500 ) degree student in Abia State (Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, or Abia State University, Uturu)
- Have CGPA of 3.5 and above
- Be experiencing financial difficulty

Recipients of the Development for Africa Foundation Scholarship will receive financial assistance amounting to N200,000.00 per year.
This scholarship is renewable for a period of up to three years, providing ongoing support throughout the beneficiary’s undergraduate journey.
Required Documents for the Development of Africa Foundation Scholarship
You will be submitting the following while applying for the 2023 scholarship;
- Admission letter into the institution.
- Previous Semester Result.
- Evidence of State of Origin / Local Government.
- A school ID card, together with either a National ID or Driver’s Licence or International passport.
- Character reference letters with contact information for verification {for example: community leader, current school professor, Head of Department and Church Representative (optional)}
- An essay about financial need and career goals.
