Hong Kong Government Scholarship Details

The Government of Hong Kong is calling on qualified and interested Nigerians to apply for Full-Tuition Scholarships to study a four-year Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Programme in 2024-2025 academic year.

The Nigerian Ministry of Education has announced the availability of two full scholarships for Nigerian students to study at the Yew Chung University in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Government Scholarship Benefits

The Government of Hong Kong will offer Full-Tuition Scholarships for selected applicants to study a four-year Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Programme in 2024-2025 academic year.
Each Scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to the normative duration of study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.
The living costs for a student in Hong Kong including food, transportation and leisure may be in the range of HK$30,000 -HK$50,000 per year.
Affordable hostel accommodation for international students might be in the range of HK$6,000(USD770) per month.
The college has informed that application fees would be waived for applicants who go through Consular General of Nigeria in Hong Kong as a referral

Hong Kong Government Scholarships Requirements

To be eligible for the undergraduate Hong Kong Government Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

have good academic standing
have good track record in community services.
Hold a IB Diploma or GCE A-Level/iAl with Grade E in 2 @ subjects (for BEdECE) or 1 subject (for HDECE); and Grade E in English Language at A/AS-Level or Grade C in GCE/O-LEVEL/GCSE/IGCSE
