Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship Overview
The Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship Programme for the 2023/2024 academic year is now accepting applications.
This scholarship is specifically designed for natives of Nasarawa state, focusing on those from the Karu, Keffi, and Kokona federal constituency. It aims to remove financial and social obstacles that hinder access to higher education.
The initiative seeks to cultivate future leaders with exceptional talents and a dedication to service, offering them the chance to further their education and enhance their leadership skills.
Shanghai Government Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
Eligibility is exclusive to individuals originating from Nasarawa state, particularly from the Karu, Keffi, and Kokona federal constituency.
- Candidates must have applied to a public tertiary institution and meet all requirements for admission.
- Directors, Officers, and employees of the Sponsor or the Administrator, including their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advisors, and promotional agencies, along with their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
- Applicants should be prepared to enroll in a full-time program by January 2024.
- Proof of economic and social challenges hindering university access is required.

For the 2023/24 academic session, the Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship will accept applications from students who have been admitted to recognized Nigerian universities and are studying accredited programmes.

The Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship will cover the entire costs of the expenses required to sponsor the successful candidate on his/her education till graduation.
